1. Who We Are

SellSignal is a product of Rise Up Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use SellSignal at sellsignal.app.

2. What We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name.

Payment information: If you subscribe to SellSignal Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

Analysis history: When you run an analysis, we store the type of analysis, the cryptocurrency symbol, and the result. This allows us to show you your history and improve the product.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the service — pages visited, features used, and analysis counts — to enforce rate limits and improve the product.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics (Vercel Analytics).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the SellSignal service and run your analyses
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing via Stripe
• To enforce usage limits (free tier: 3 analyses/day; pro tier: 100/day)
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts)
• To improve the service — understanding which features are used most
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

SellSignal uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Your account data and analysis history are stored in Supabase.
• Stripe — payment processing. Handles all credit card data; we never touch your card details.
• Anthropic — AI analysis. When you run an analysis, the cryptocurrency symbol and market context (no personally identifiable information) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the result.
• CoinGecko — market data provider. Your symbol queries are sent to CoinGecko to retrieve price and market data.
• Upstash — Redis caching and rate limiting. Stores temporary cached data and usage counts.
• Vercel — hosting and CDN. Processes all web requests and may collect IP addresses and request logs.

5. Cookies

SellSignal uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These are set by Supabase's authentication system and are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly, cookie-free approach to measure page visits. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Analysis data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form for product improvement purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data (the “right to be forgotten”)
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Opt out of any non-essential communications

8. Children

SellSignal is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of SellSignal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
