Frequently Asked Questions

Gem Finder, sell plans, data and billing, answered in a few lines each.

Gem Finder

What is Gem Finder?

Every hour Gem Finder reads the top 1,000 coins by market cap, leaves out stablecoins and wrapped, staked and bridged tokens, and keeps the five with the strongest signals. Each one comes with a score from 0 to 100, a plain reason, and four signals you can check.

  • PUFFER
  • PORKU
  • ICNT
  • TIA
  • SWARM

What does the gem score mean?

It is a 0 to 100 read of four market signals on a fixed scale: how much traded against the coin's size, the week's rise, how far it sits below its old high, and how far under the radar it is. It is not a probability and not a forecast.

PUFFER
one scan, four signals
  • Trading vs its size0.5x
  • Move this week+78.1%
  • Below its old high-96%
  • Under the radar#772

Is it a buy list?

No. Read why each coin made it, then decide. Small coins trade thinly and can fall as fast as they rose, so each gem carries a one-line risk.

What do Watch and Spot do, and what is the streak?

Swipe a gem right to watch it and left to skip it. A watched gem joins your Watchlist, and we remember its price at the scan so Home can show the gems you spotted. Home opens on today's check as a ring, and your streak counts the days you have checked in.

How do I know if the gems work?

Every gem we flag is logged with its price and checked 7 days later: did it reach +20%? Every pick is counted, including the ones that did not.

Sell plans and alerts

What is a sell plan?

A stop and up to five sells, each with a price and the share of the position it takes. You set it by dragging levels on the price line. It is the safety net for a coin you keep, decided while you are calm.

Example coin$100.00

An example plan with made-up prices, not a live coin. Example

Where do suggested levels come from?

From an analysis of the coin, offered inside the sell plan sheet for 7 days. They show up as ghosts you take one at a time or all at once. After 7 days, ask for fresh ones, because older levels were priced for a different market.

What happens when a target hits?

We check every active sell plan against the market every 15 minutes. When a target hits, a decision card on your Watchlist asks what you are doing, and a push or email carries the target and the price. Pro adds Telegram. Your answer, kept or changed, goes into Your record.

What are price alerts?

On Pro, tap the coin's price line to place an alert above or below the price now, with up to 20 active. An alert is information. It tells you a price was crossed, nothing more.

Example coin$100.00

An example plan with made-up prices, not a live coin. Example

What is a health score?

Coin pages show a daily health score read from momentum, volume, sentiment, technical levels and risk. Think of it as a checkup for a coin you hold.

Data and accuracy

Where does your data come from?

Prices, volume, rank and old highs come from CoinGecko. Sell-level suggestions and health reads also use global market metrics, the fear and greed index, on-chain top-holder concentration and DefiLlama fundamentals. News headlines come from publisher RSS feeds (CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, The Block and others). We do not follow individual wallets or perpetual funding.

How often is it updated?

The gem scan runs every hour. A coin's price is read when you load a page and is at most 15 seconds old, and the Markets list is at most a minute old. The fear and greed index is about 15 minutes old at most, and holder concentration and protocol fundamentals refresh every 5 to 30 minutes. News headlines are checked every 15 minutes.

Why don’t your numbers match CoinMarketCap or TradingView?

Providers track different exchanges, filter wash trading differently and verify circulating supply on their own. A gap is normal and does not mean an error. The same goes for fear and greed indexes, which use different inputs.

How accurate is it?

Sometimes we’re wrong. No read is right every time, and crypto moves on events that are in nobody’s data. We publish what happened to every gem instead of a promise, and your own record shows what you decided.

What writes the reasons?

A frontier language model reads the numbers and writes the plain line. The numbers beside it are the evidence, so you can check the line against them.

Plans and billing

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free tracks up to 3 positions with up to 3 active sell plans and 3 analyses a day. Pro is $8.99 a month or $79 a year and removes those limits: unlimited positions and sell plans, 100 analyses a day, price alerts, Picks for you, Telegram decision pings, a weekly briefing and the scenario simulator.
